PRAYER OF SALVATION
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."--John 3:16
"Jesus answered and said unto him, 'Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."--John 3:3
"...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."--
John 10:10
Accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, gives us access to our Heavenly Father and all the blessings of his heavenly kingdom. God desires that we experience his love, joy, peace, goodness, healing, restoration, mercy, and grace. Our human attempts to be a "good person" or do "good things" or "work/try really hard" are futile. Without the power of God, our human efforts will always fall short and leave us feeling confused, disappointed, frustrated, and longing for more.
The Bible clearly tells us that we must be born again. We become born again by confessing with our mouths and believing with our hearts that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose again three days later. Some may believe that baptism is the same as becoming born again or "saved". That is not what the Bible teaches. Water baptism is one's public expression of our new life in Christ.
"If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved."
--Romans 10:9(GNT)
If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pray this simple prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus, I confess with my mouth that I am a sinner. I believe with my heart that you died on the cross for me and rose again three days later. I ask that you forgive me of all my sins. Please come into my heart. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus for saving me of my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer, please let us know. We celebrate you and rejoice with the angels in heaven (Luke 15:10). Congratulations! You are now a born-again Christian!

We suggest reading the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) as well as the Book of Psalms in the Holy Bible. We also suggest getting connected with a local church in your area.
