Share your story with others!
We all have a story to tell. Many of us have overcome incredible odds and personal challenges. The Word of God tells us in Revelation 12:11 that "they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony." Because Jesus overcame, if we know Him as Savior, His power to overcome is resident in us! That is good news! We can overcome and experience victory, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. That is why sharing our story is so vital in helping someone else. Sharing our story encourages others and lets them know that God is still blessing.
Brag on God. What has He brought you through? What have you overcome? Big or small, it does not matter; a victory is a victory. A testimony is a testament of God's power at work in our lives. Your story could be the very thing that someone needs to hear to lead them to Jesus. Your story could be the catalyst of change in someone's life. Your story could potentially restore hope or bring encouragement.

TESTIMONY
Here's Michael's testimony about how being hit by a drunk driver, saved his life:
"My God is a good God. One year ago my life changed forever. At first I was angry but then I became thankful. If it wasn't for the grace of God I wouldn't be here. This accident exposed the brain tumor that was aggressively growing. I was having problems and even suffered a mini stroke and all signs was ignored and refuse to follow my wife and doctor's orders. I was... supposed to get a MRI and CAT scan but blew it off because I felt invincible. His blessing to have me have this accident made me get the test that night in the ER. Four months later I had successful brain surgery. Almost a year later, I'm recovering slowly but surely and I'm still out on extended Long Term Disability. I am a walking miracle and I testify every chance I get because I am HIStory.
All praises to God our Savior. Love me some big guy up there in the big house."

TESTIMONY
Have you ever had your day all planned out and it did not turn out the way you planned? On June 11, 2011, I planned to start the day by going to church. I was ready to leave for church and was on my way down the stairs when the unthinkable happened. I fell from the top of the staircase all the way down to the bottom. I landed on my right side. I knew right away something was terribly wrong. My daughter heard the loud crash and raced down the steps to check on me. She had to help me get up. I was in a lot of pain and my wrist looked out of place. My daughter rushed me to the emergency room. When I arrived I was seen right away. They immediately confirmed that I had broken the radius bone in my wrist and I required surgery to set the bone back in place with screws and a plate. I was out of work for 3 1/2 months. I was not able to do much. While I was in a cast I had to learn to use my left hand. I went through months of therapy in order for me to have full use of my arm, wrist and hand again. I am reminded of the scripture “All things work together…” Prior to my fall I never thought much about how the arm, wrist and hand often work together. Just think about when you lift your hand to praise God. All those parts are working together. You can do one without the other but it may be extremely difficult. Through it all The Lord provided everything that I needed. We never know what the day may bring or what can happen to us. I do know for sure with The Lord's grace and mercy He will see us through. I had to trust in The Lord to get stronger and regain my independence. I had so much to be thankful for. I continued to push myself to raise my arm to praise HIM because HE is a good GOD. HE is always wrapping us in HIS loving arms! I forgot to mention one important piece of information about that day. At the bottom of the first set of steps there is a landing. My daughter always sits on a pillow on that landing. Each night when she is done she put the pillow in the dining room. Well the night before my fall she didn’t feel like putting the pillow in its normal location in the dining room. Instead she propped it up against the wall at the bottom of the landing. When my daughter found me at the bottom of those steps, my head was perfectly cradled in that pillow. If that pillow wasn’t there I could have had a severe head and/or neck injury…or worse. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of MY LORD and how awesome and mighty HE is.
