The Bible calls us to be good stewards over our relationships. Being a good steward embodies care, compassion, and attunement toward those with whom we are in relationship.
How are we relating to those in our spheres of influence? Are we thinking of ways to motivate and encourage? Are we observing? Are we listening? Are we "tuned in" to their needs? What are we saying? Are our words edifying or tearing down?
Conversely, how are we being related to? Are we being edified or torn down? Not only is it important to steward our interactions, but we must also be mindful of the company we are keeping. Are we being motivated to acts of love and good works?
