“For I am the Lord, I do not change [but remain faithful to My covenant with you]..."
--Malachi 3:6 (AMP)
Time, seasons, people, feelings, finances, health, plans, etc. all change. Would you agree? Can I get a nod or an "amen"? Change is all around us. Nothing in life is constant. Everything changes. Yet, the One who is the Creator of all things changing, never changes. How does that strike you? The Lord God, who is seated on the throne of eternity keeping a watchful eye on you, me, and all things concerning us, never changes. I hope this is an encouraging word for you today.
Life is full of moment by moment changes, and with them come a myriad of feelings--positive or negative depending on the circumstance. When it becomes flagrantly apparent that we are unable to control our world, there is One constant. As we struggle to find an anchor of stability within the whirlwind of life, we can trust in the constancy of God (Nahum 1:3). We can trust His word that He is with us and will never abandon us (Hebrews 13:5). He will not withdraw his love (Jeremiah 33:3) and He promises to give us peace that goes beyond human reckoning (Philippians 4:7).
Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the truth of your word. Even when I am struggling to adjust, adapt, cope, or transition in life--you meet me where I am and give me what I need to move forward confidently and courageously so that I may experience victorious and triumphant living. It is your promise and your guarantee for my life, and I receive it now in Jesus' name.
