"Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty; the LORD, invincible in battle."--Psalm 24:8(NLT)
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."--2 Timothy 1:7(NLT)
Did you know, as Christians, we have been chosen to be soldiers/warriors for Christ
(2 Timothy 2:3-4)? Did you know that we have also been endowed with heavenly power and authority, as well as war clothes/armor (Ephesians 6)? Did you know that we have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16), whereby we are privy to war strategies; including the snares, schemes, and mine fields of the enemy?
Therefore, as warriors, we are not to run from the enemy. And "running" comes in various forms, like avoidance, ignoring, acceptance, giving up, conceding, enabling, being co-dependent, etc. Warriors do not run; they engage in battle and contend understanding that whatever we are facing is no match for the God of Angel Armies, who fights with us! We are never alone in battle. God goes before us and stands behind us. He ensures that we are victorious.
Whatever you are facing, it is not bigger than God or his power that is at work in your life. You have been given the power and the authority to contend and to win!
